Event Planning and Production

I am an Event Producer with over 7 years of experience planning a wide variety of events in Los Angeles. I have produced everything from comedy shows to large scale Holiday Brunches (serving as many as 500 people), to dance parties, to upscale intimate dinner parties, to full productions of plays and much more. For two years I also ran the Events and Marketing Department for a private social club of over 4,000. This portfolio features a sample of some events that I was a lead producer on (unless otherwise noted), meaning that I involved in every aspect of production from initial concept and planning, to marketing, to being there day of to ensure it runs perfectly.

“Be Mine in 1989”

A Valentine’s Day 80s Prom

This event was an 80s Prom themed dance party featuring KCRW DJ Jeremy Sole, that had a photo booth, a break dance performance and a costume contest (to crown “Prom King and Queen”). We also surprised attendees with a DeLorean parked outside near the entrance before they entered the dance.

“Be Mine in 1989” - Marketing

To market the event to this private athletic club of 4,000, I Art Directed an 80s racket sports inspired campaign. This was a collaboration with stylist/photographers/models Kym Allen and @chelseaababie. Other marketing tactics included 80s themed workout classes in the week leading up to the dance, and installing a vintage arcade game in the club restaurant. These marketing tactics were extremely unconventional for The Club at this time and the event sold out well in advance.

Rooftop Weenie Roast + Drag Performance

This was the first Gay Pride Celebration in The Club’s history (established in 1885). The event not only sold out but became an annual tradition. We had a rooftop dinner party followed by a drag performance featuring Laganja Estranja (RuPaul’s Drag Race) and a dance party.

Tiki Disco Dance

Following the success of Be Mine in 1989, we had another themed dance party. This party also featured KCRW’s Marion Hodges, a dance party and costume contest.

Be Our Guest Chef Dinner

with Timothy Hollingsworth

This was a small intimate dinner party featuring a special coursed menu created by James Beard Foundation Rising Chef Award Recipient Timothy Hollingsworth. This event was held quarterly and featured a different chef each time including James Beard Foundation Rising Chef Award Recipient Eduaro Ruiz, and David Schlosser of Michelin starred restuarant Shibumi, among others.

Harry Potter Halloween Party

This kid’s party featured a Hogwarts style dinner party and specialty menu, followed by wand decorating, games, and the sorting hat with Harry, Ron and Hermione!

WAVE Dinner Party

A cocktail hour and coursed dinner party.

Hijinxs: An Immersive After Hours Halloween Party

This secret halloween party featured performances and expereinces facilitated by many different creative groups in the LA area. Unlike other examples on this page, this event was produced in collaboration with the invitation-only social club The Uplifters, and LA based music group X.X.T.
