<< A Digital Care Package >>

Welcome!

I wanted to make something for the people in my life, for this very specific and strange time in history that we are experiencing together, a sort of digital care package and place of calm.

Please enjoy looking around and check out the playlist I made below.

Can’t wait for us all to see each other again soon, IRL and from < 6 ft away.

Stay Healthy // Home,

Simone

PS- you’re doing great.

new tunes!

I love making playlists and how they can capture a specific moment in time. Music can have such a powerful influence on your mood and mental state. For this playlist, I wanted to make something that was sonically soothing but that had forward-facing, hopeful lyrics.

Please enjoy!

Serenity

On the first day of practicing self-isolation I pulled a tarot card for the world and got “Serenity.”

The description really felt right for this moment in time (see below):

“Sometimes it is important to step back from the noise and chaos of the world, There is nothing wrong with seeking out your own space, as introspection offers spiritual teachings that can only come from within. This, in turn, allows you to expand your field of perception and connect with your Higher Self.

Serenity describes a soul searching journey where you seek truth, purpose and harmony. You are waking up to a renewed sense of spirituality that is illuminating your life in new and vibrant ways. You may feel less inclined to share your thoughts or views with others, as you realize that each person is on their own karmic path of learning and enlightenment. Take a moment to reconnect with Nature and explore the mysteries of the Earth around you. Look out for the sweet synchronicities as they come.”

a letter from the future

Write a Letter to Your Future Self

This is a website that will let you send an e-mail to your future self. Even though this is a weird time for all of us, you can’t argue that the circumstances are unique, and thus so is our perspective. A year or two from now, I think it would be super interesting to reconnect to what you were thinking/feeling right now and what your hopes were for the future.

Resilience is your birthright and survival is our shared historical story.
— Elizabeth Gilbert

This post is inspired by a convo I had with my friend Jacob. We ran into each other at Echo Park Lake and had a really nice 6-feet-between-us-conversation with each other about…
